Welcome to the online catalog for the MECA Art Auction.

The Art Auction is MECA’s major fundraising event, with proceeds from sponsorships, art sales and ticket purchases supporting the College’s mission to teach each student how to transform aspirations and values into a creative practice that serves as the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of personal and professional goals.

This benefit is made possible thanks to the hundreds of artists and donors who generously share or give their artwork, valuable time and services to the College. Maine supports a rich gallery tradition and we are grateful to our gallery friends who make it possible for artists to show and sell their work. We encourage you to bid over fair market value for the artwork and support your local artists!

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Benefactor Ticket Price is $70. This Early In-Easy Out ticket offers a special preview reception at 5:00pm, reserved seats and access to the fast check-out lane.

Regular Ticket Price is $40.

All tickets include food, beer/wine and non-alcoholic beverages.

The artwork is not available for bidding online. We are introducing a BUY IT NOW option on all the silent auction artwork on the evening of November 7th beginning at 6:30pm. BUY IT NOW is not available through absentee bids.

Absentee Bids
All absentee bids will be charged the $40 entrance fee and must be submitted by 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2009.
